New Heights Auto Services is expanding to help more people!
In 2009 New Heights Auto Services, then known as the First Church Cars Ministry, was started as a community outreach to provide oil changes and free vehicle inspections to financially strapped households in Berrien County. Nine years later New Heights Auto Services has evolved to providing vehicles, at a minimal cost, and mechanical repairs for simply the cost of parts. Since its founding, the program has positively impacted over 100 lives through the services provided.
New Heights has identified a building that will set the program on a growth-track and will allow for 100 people a year to be served. In addition to increasing the impact of the program the new building will allow for the creation of a social enterprise which will make New Heights Auto Services financially sustainable, which will allow this program to serve hundreds of people for years to come.
